In the summer of 2025, a series of solidarity picnics organized by People for Free Russia took place.

The initiative began in Minnesota, then the relay was taken up by New York and Chicago. Later, Oregon, Wisconsin, and Florida joined the movement.

In 2026, we look forward to welcoming new participants and new cities.

We believe that solidarity begins with human connections. That is why we create spaces for communication, mutual support, and collective action. We are confident that Russia will one day be free. But we live in the present, and political prisoners need support today — just as much as we need to support one another.
