Friends, we invite you to join us for an evening of letter writing to political prisoners in Russia at a very atmospheric location — the Germanic-American Institute. This is not just a venue, but a museum with a unique history and atmosphere.

We will be writing letters to critically ill political prisoners. Right now, they especially need our support. No matter how difficult things may feel for us in the United States, their situation is immeasurably harder — and we have no right to forget about them.

A CBS News film crew will be present at the event. This is a rare and important opportunity to tell a wide audience about political prisoners and their fates. Please come if you are able.
